Leyte Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez will be running for Senator in the coming 2022 election. The said information was confirmed by Senate President Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto who himself will run for Vice President alongside Senator Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson who will run for Presisdent.
Sotto said Torres will run for senator in the 2022 election under the Nationalist People’s Coalition.
“I just got the go signal. Cong. Lucy Torres-Gomez will be in our lineup!” said Sotto.
Torres is on her last terrm as House Representative ng Fourth District of Leyte.
