Actor and TV host Luis Manzano expressed his honest thoughts and sentiments over entering politics.
In the latest YouTube vlog of Talent manager and broadcaster Ogie Diaz, he featured Luis for an interview. During the interview, Luis admitted that others are encouraging him to enter politics.
“May mga kumakausap saakin. Mga different sectors… Pag kunware dumadalaw ako sa Lipa, minsan nagugulat ako na, minsan, let’s say mga teachers na gusto akong makausap. May mga Pari, mga Madre na gusto akong makausap and from different organizations na parang gusto akong tumakbo.
So sabi ko, ‘Hindi pa ready’. Kasi for example kakapirma ko lang sa ABS-CBN, so napaka pangit naman na tatakbo ako samantalang mas busy ako sa ABS diba?” Luis shared.
“Hindi ko ma-gets yung point na ganun e. Hihingi ka ng boto ng tao tapos mangangako ka na gagawin mo ‘to. Pero pag hinahanap ka, nasa hosting ka… Hindi pa talaga e.
Tsaka hindi ako yayaman sa politika, mama Ogs. Mas matakot kayo kung duon ako yumayaman sa politika, diba? E hindi e, may buhay ako na gustong ibigay sa pamilya ko.” Luis added.
