Boxing icon and Senator Manny Pacquiao announced that his boxing career is over. Pacquiao made the announcement during his one-on-one interview with Toni Gozaga.
“My boxing career is over,” said Senator Pacquiao, which means his fight with Yordenis Ugas was the last in his illustrious boxing career.
“I’ve been boxing for a very long time. My family has long been saying that I should retire already. I just kept on fighting because I’m passionate about the sport,” said Pacquiao.
Pacquiao felt that it is the right time for him to say goodbye to his 26 years boxing career. Pacquiao also announced his plans to run for President in the 2022 elections.
