Boxing icon and Senator Manny Pacquiao expressed his honest thoughts and opinions when he was asked if he is certain to run for President in the upcoming elections.
In an interview with TV host Karen Davila for ABS-CBN’s ‘TV Patrol’, she asked Manny if he is going to run for President in the 2022 elections.
“Are you certain to run for the Presidency or open ka pa na hindi?” Karen asked Manny.
“Ayaw ko magsabe kasi ayaw kong maging sinungaling. Diyan pa lang nag start nag sisinungaling ka na diba. Hindi ako katulad ng iba na, ‘hindi ako tatakbo’ tapos tatakbo ako, yung parang ganun. Parang niloloko ko na agad yung mga tao duon.”Manny said.
“Gusto ko mag, in the right time mag desisyon ako, mag announce ako in the right time.” Manny added.
During the interview, Manny also shared his opinion to those urging President Rodigo Duterte’s daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to run for Presidency.
“Sa tingin ko ha, sa aking opinyon, dapat pagbigyan din naman naten yung iba kung sino yung, pero alam mo sa totoo lang, yung pagiging Presidente, anointed by God… Maraming gustong maging Presidente pero hindi sila pinayagan ng Panginoon maging Presidente.” Manny said.
