PLDT, Inc. Chairman, President and CEO Manny ‘MVP’ Pangilinan announced that he ha approved the advanced 13th month pay of employees in line with the COVID-19 crisis. Pangilinan heeded the call of the government to help ease the hardship of workers.
On his Twitter account, Pangilinan said employees will be receving their 13th month in advance, continuous salaries and benefits, and vitamins:

1) Advance 13th month pay in full for Pldt, Smart, and Meralco employees
2) Continuation of salaries and benefits of all employees.
3) Vacation and Sick leaves will not be used
4) Vitamins have been ordered for employees – especially for field personnel. Initially, around 500,000 vitamin tablets to be delivered starting tomorrow.
5) Work from home in place.
We are also taking the following measures to ensure the well-being of our employees:
1) Advance 13th month pay in full for Pldt, Smart, and Meralco employees
2) Continuation of salaries and benefits of all employees.
