Actress Mariel Padilla introduced her new business where she is selling beef. Mariel admitted that initially she was a bit hesitant although it was her long time dream to have her own business and also the dream of her ‘lolo’ and ‘lola.’
Another reason why Mariel decided to start the business was because she wanted to send daughter Isabella to a school where the kids of her sisters are enrolled. Mariel felt that it would be unfair if she would ask husband actor Robin Padilla to entirely shoulder the tution fee of their child.
“Hesitant ako all these years na mag-business ako, until now nag-decide ako and what gave me that decision, one I’ve always wanted to do it tapos dream talaga ng lolo at lola ko na ipagpatuloy ko ‘yung business nila.
“And ‘yung next thing kasi ‘yung school kung saan ko gusto i-enroll si Isabella eventually is the same school kung saan nag-aaral ang mga anak ng ate ko, ang mahal ng tuition.” said Mariel.
“So, nahihiya ako kay Robin. Nahihiya ako sa asawa ko na, ‘o ito yung tuition fee.’ Eh, ito talaga ang gusto ko na doon sila mag-aral kasi meron akong dreams for them, gusto ko may maimbag ako, gusto ko mayroon akong masi-share para walang kahit sinong tao ang makakapagkuwestiyon kung bakit sa ganu’n school pumapasok ang mga anak ko.” Mariel added.
“Lalung-lalo na ang mga kids ko na makikita nila na si nanay at si tatay work so hard para makapasok kami sa mga school na ganito, so mag-aaral sila nang mabuti. Lahat naman ng magulang gustong mag-aral ng mabuti ang mga anak kasi ito lang naman ang maipapamana natin.” Mariel said.
