TV host Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla did something no one expected her to do – she invited actress Vina Morales to guest on her vlog. It is a common knowledge that Vina was onced the girlfriend of actor Robin Padilla. Robin is now the husband of Mariel. The topic was supposed to be a cooking segment featuring Vina’s famous ‘pinakbet’. But the discussion zeroed in on the love story of Vina and Robin.
Vina revealed that her relationship with Robin blossom during the making of the movie “Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum” in 1991.
Vina said it was an on and off kind of relationship because Robin was doing a lot of projects but she (Vina) also has a project with Robin. So the circumstances made it difficult for the relationship to work. And Mariel commented: “The way I see it parang totoo yung love sa iyo ni Robin noon.”
On her Youtube channel, Mariel captioned her video with this message:
“Ito na siguro ang isa sa pinakamatapang kong pagharap sa isa sa mga taong malapit sa puso ng aking asawa. For the very 1st time ever, I am facing the past as we both talk about the present! Handa na ba kayo? Coz I’m soooo ready for Vina Morales!”
