Actors Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto failed to secure seats in Caloocan City’s local council in the recently concluded 2025 midterm elections.
Dennis placed a dismal 16th in the 2nd District race, while Marjorie ranked 7th in the 1st District. Only the top six councilors per district will make the cut.
Prior to the election, Dennis and Marjorie made headlines in the entertainment news due to the wedding of Claudia Barretto. Dennis expressed disappointment after he was not the one to walk Claudia down the aisle. Marjorie clarified that it was clearly communicated to Dennis that it was Claudia’s wish to walk alone on her wedding day.
Political analysts speculated that their loss may have been influenced by their recent highly publicized feud.
