Actress Maxene Magalona explained to her fans and followers why she decided to share the video compilation of her breaking down in tears.
It can be recalled that recently, Maxene got comforted by her supporters and celebrity friends as she shared a crying video compilation of her on her Instagram account. The said video compilation came with Adelle’s hit song titled, ‘Easy On Me’ as background song.
In her recent post on Instagram, Maxene clarified that she is okay and the said videos were taken last year. Maxene also shared that she appreciated all the kind words that she received after posting the said video.
“Something inside me lang kanina, while I was crying today, something inside me just thought of creating that reel. Those videos were actually from last year when I was crying in Manila. I just sort of documented myself crying because I didn’t understand how and why I kept crying for two weeks straight during that time. I never posted those videos. But today, I felt like creating that reel because I just wanted to share these emotions, because I believe it’s really okay not to be okay all the time… God whispered to me to post that because I feel a lot of people will be able to relate.” Maxene shared.
“It’s not easy to be alone and to be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, sad, depressed, so I just wanted to show that you are never alone. We are in this together. If you need to cry, please cry. Kasi that’s really something I’ve struggled with growing up. And now that I’m at this age, I realized that the sooner we faced these painful emotions inside of us, the sooner we deal with them and feel them, then we will move forward with much clarity and lightness in the heart.” Maxene added.
