Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso will be running for president in the 2022 elections. Former senatorial candidate Willie Ong will be his running mate. Manila Public Information Office chief Julius Leonen confirmed the said news.
“Tuloy ang gobyerno. We’re still here. I’m going to have to do what I have to do as the Mayor,” said the Mayor.
Moreno and Ong are set to make a formal announcement on September 22, 2021 (Wednesday).
