Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto confirmed that he will seek for re-election in the upcoming elections.
In an interview with TV host Karen Davila for ‘ANC Headstart’, Mayor Vico was asked if he will continue his run as Mayor of Pasig City.
“You’re running of re-election of Pasig?” Karen asked Mayor Vico.
“Hindi pa naman ako nag announce pero, yun naman po siguro yun…” Mayor Vico said.
Mayor Vico also shared that he ‘definitely’ wants to continue the gains of his admiration.
“Definitely. We’ve made a lot of gains but sa totoo lang limited ang nagawa namin dahil sa pandemya. A lot of our projects even pushing for universal healthcare, a lot of it has been delayed because of the pandemic…” Mayor Vico said.
“Nuong nag state of the city address nga ako na-realize ko, sa dalawang taon mayor ako, 9 months lang yung walang pandemic. Kumbaga we had nine months to clean things up. Grabe yung pinagdadaanan namin dito…”
“But we’ve had gains, we’re building momentum steadily. Yun nga lang talagang limited yung pwedeng gawin eh…” Mayor Vico added.
