Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto informed his constituents that he was tested positive for the Omicron COVID-19 variant. The mayor made the announcement via his Twitter account.
According to Mayor Vico, he experienced having sore throat, fever and body aches but at the same time assured everyone that he is doing fine and will continue his duties as mayor remotely.
Mayor Vico also reminded all to take extra precautionary measures and always keep our health in tip top shape.

“Hi everyone, bad news, I’ve tested positive for covid-19. I have sore throat, fever, and body aches, but please don’t worry! I’ll continue to work remotely while in isolation for the next 7 days.”
“Naka ilan close call ako sa Delta (gaya nung sa driver ko) pero di ako nahawaan.. Matindi talaga ang pagkalat ng Omicron variant– sabi nga ng ibang eksperto, LAHAT TAYO ay mae-expose dito. Kaya laging mag-iingat, magpalakas tayo ng katawan, at maging responsable pag may sintomas.:
