In his defense, he recalled the promulgation and enactment of the Bayanihan We Heal as One Act last March 24, 2020 which is almost a week after his announcement regarding the tricycle issue last March 18, 2020.

“From the start of the community quarantine and all its variations, we have fully complied will all directives from the national government, 100% we have complied. Pangalawa, kung meron silang issue sa tricycle, March 19 po yung issue sa tricycle, the Bayanihan We Heal as One act was enacted March 24. So, wala po msyadong sense.

In fact, it didn’t even exist during the time of the issue.”

Digging deep into the allegations, he adds “even if we talk about that issue, di naman masama magbigay ng opinion eh.
