Netizens took notice how Miss Universe Colombia pageant misspelled former Miss Universe Catriona Gray’s surname to ‘Garay.’ While Catriona was being introduced as one of the judges, her name was flashed on screen (chargen) to help the audience who she is.
But instead of flashing Catriona Gray, they flashed her name as ‘Catriona Garay.’
Another issue circulating was when the pageant host introduced Catriona as “Australian by birth but represented Philippines after living for a few years there.”
