Kapamilya star Nadine Lustre aired her thoughts and sentiments on the decision of Congress denying the franchise renewal of her home network ABS-CBN.
Nadine trended on Twitter as her fans defended her for remaining silent over the network’s issue after some of ABS-CBN supporters called her out for not standing up and showing support to the network.

In her Instagram story, Nadine shared her statement. She reaffirmed support to ABS-CBN and she was also sad over the more than 11,000 workers who lost their jobs. “Gaya ninyo, Kamapilya din ako. Gaya ninyo, natatakot ako sa mga nangyayari. Gaya ninyo, nalungkot din ako para sa 11,000+ na taong nawalan ng trabaho. Gaya ninyo, umiiyak ako para sa sariling bansa. Dahil gaya ninyo, Pilipino din ako.” captioned by Nadine.
“Kasama ako sa laban na ito. Patuloy na tumutulong at magdadasal sa kabila ng pag luluksa.” added by Nadine.
She also appealed for unity as she ended her Instagram story with the caption “Sana ay ibaling natin ang atensyon natin sa mga bagay na nararapat pagtuunan ng pansin. Pakiusap, huwag tayong magaway away at maghati. wala na tayong oras.”
