Actress Nadine Lustre broke her silence and responded to the statements made by entertainment anchor-writer Jobert Sucaldito. The entertainment columnist appeared on the congressional hearing on the ABS-CBN franchise renewal via Zoom. Sucaldito explained his side to what he calls ““unceremonious dismissal” from the Kapamilya network on January 10.
Sucaldito during the hearing recalled that his dismissal has something to do with his suggestion for Nadine to jump-off a building after entertainment columnist Ricky Lo revealed that the relationship of Nadine and James Reid was over.

Nadine on her Instagram Stories reacted and posted the following:
“You’re not seeing the bigger picture, Mr. Sucaldito. It’s messed up how you are completely unashamed of what u said. It’s never okay to push someone to commit suicide.” said Nadine.
I can’t believe you’re using this issue to fight our home network whose only objective is to protect us. Kahit pagbali baliktarin mo, mali yung sinabi mo. Inalis ka sa trabaho dahil MALI YUNG SINABI MO and how tf is this even on congress?! Someone enlighten me. PLS.” added Nadine.
“Ikaw na nga yung sinabihan na tumalon tapos parang kasalanan mo pa??” she asked. “I’m sick and tired of these boomers treating mental issues like a mf joke. Ayoko na. Di ko na kaya mga ganap mamsh!.” ended Nadine.
