Actress Angel Locsin thanked those who supported Vice President Leni Robredo in her presidential bid. Angel added that she felt proud and honored for sharing the same courage in fighting for what they believed in.
Angel together with husband Neil Arce were vocal in expressing their support for VP Leni.
On Instagram, Angel encouraged everyone to continue to prioritize the country and people:
“To my fellow Leni volunteers, na-witness ko ang kakaibang passion na ibinigay natin sa eleksyong ito. I am proud to have fought beside you to the very end. Huwag kang manghina dahil ibinigay natin ang lahat…na walang pagaalinlangan.
Hindi tayo naging madamot, itinaya ang pangalan at oras. Lumaban kahit mahirap—para sa ating paniniwala at sa kapwa. Kahit parang imposible. Lumaban tayo hindi para sa isang tao, kundi para sa bayan. Kaya kahit matatapos na ang bilangan.
Piliin pa rin natin ang bayan. Piliin pa rin natin ang Pilipinas. Patuloy tayong magpakita ng malasakit at kumilos para sa kapwa. Ipinagdarasal ko na darating rin ang araw na makikita natin ang Pilipinas na minimithi. Taas noo. Salamat Mam Leni sa inspirasyon”
On the comment section of a separate post by Angel where she and husband Neil Arce were having a nice swimming pool bonding time. A netizen asked Angel the following:
“umiyak ka rin ba katulad namin?”
To which Angel replied:
“Malungkot but taas noo. Ituloy natin ang nabuong malasakit sa bayan at sa kapwa. proud to have fought alongside you”
