Netizens recall the statement made by actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga that husband Direk Paul Soriano was her first boyfriend. This after actor Eric Fructuouso revealed that he dated Toni for almost three years.
A number of years ago, Toni was interviewed about her lovelife. Toni revealed that Direk Paul was her first boyfriend and hoped that he will be the last. And true enough, Direl Paul was the man Toni married.
“For 23 years, siya ang first boyfriend ko and hopefully the last. Yung mga naging boyfriend ko, hindi ko actually boyfriend ‘yon. Mas nagiging close lang sa akin na hinu-hope mo na maging boyfriend mo, pero wala. Wala ring tumagal.” said Toni.
“Hopefully, siyempre, siya na yung lalaking pakakasalan ko. Very proper yung relasyon, yung may consent ng parents. Kasi sinabi ko na kapag magbu-boyfriend, I’ll make sure na ‘eto na ‘yon. Mahirap yung ide-deny, ililihim tapos pag nag-break saka aamin. And especially for him, hindi naman siya sanay sa ganun.” Toni added.
