Netizens referred to actress Angel Locsin as ‘Darna’ anew after Angel asked the needs of the victims of the Taal volcano eruption. The volcano erupted January 12, 2020 leaving a lot of people living nearby with no electricty, no food and no water.
The Philippine government is mobilizing all available agencies to provide assistance to affected people and areas.

Celebrities has called for prayers and has also provided assistance but the tweet of Angel went viral after the actress tweeted the following:

The response to the tweet was overwhelming that netizens started answer her by providing the things that they need prompting some to even call her ‘Darna’ anew. Angel was one of the names included by ‘Forbes Asia’ in its Philanthropy List for aiding disaster relief efforts, among other causes.
