Netizens are debating as to who is more deserving to be named National Artist? Regine Velasquez-Alcasid or Leah Salonga.
This was after the National Commission for Culture and the Arts announced the opening of nominees for the said prestigious award.
Some suggested that the award should go to Regine for her numerous hit songs and widely attended concert. But there are those who are saying that Leah is more deserving since she has brought prestige to the country by her countless performances internationaly.
