Netizens were quick to react on an augmented reality graphic made by GMA-7 for their news program 24 oras. The said AR graphic was applied during a report by Ms. Mel Tiangco regarding the successful landing of NASA’s Perseverance rover on planet Mars.
The AR graphic made it appear as if Mel was actually in Mars doing the report. Netizens reacted to the said effect and congratulated Mel for being the ‘first pinay’ on Mars.
