Fans and followers felt a bit said after learning that GMA-7 teleserye “First Yaya” will no longer be extended after its first season. First Yaya is top billed by Gabby Concepcion and Sanya Lopez.
In an article published by Pep, the reason is not because it was not rating, but due to the pandemic and lock-in taping.
It’s a challenge for production to have a series with multiple seasons and yet its a lock-in taping. To ensure the safety of everyone, once they started taping – they will film everything from start to end. This is how it works under the pandemic.
As expected, the cast expressed their sadness that the series should end but memories will always be there. They were able to established a family among themselves because of the said teleserye.
