Ogie Diaz on issue of Nadine Lustre with Viva: “Ano pa ang silbi ng kontrata”

Talent manager and broadcaster Ogie Diaz expressed his thoughts and opinions regarding the issue of actress Nadine Lustre and Viva Artist Agency. It was recalled that Viva filed a lawsuit against Nadine for allegedly violating her contract with the agency.

In his “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” YouTube account, Ogie and Mama Loi talked about the said issue. Mama Loi recalled that last January 27, Nadine released a statement through her lawyer that she was no longer in Viva.

To which Ogie also clarified and added “nag declare si Atty. Lorna Kapunan na pwede ng tumanggap si Nadine ng mga raket at siya ay minamanage nalang ng kaniyang sarili. At the same time ay sinabe din ni Kapunan na wala ng karapatan ang Viva Artist Agency sa career ni Nadine Lustre…So ito yung civil rights na sinasabi ni Kapunan na pag ayaw na ng talent, na sa isang kontrata o sa isang agency, pwede siyang umalis.”

“kaya ngayon nga tinatanong ko, eto ano ah, I have nothing against uhm Nadine ano. Ano pa ang silbi ng kontrata kung paiiralin naten. Bakit pa pumirma? Kung paiiralin naten yung pag ayaw na ng talent eh aalis na.” Ogie added.

Ogie also shared that he believed that it will depend on their discussion. Ogie said “ako naniniwala ako Loi noh. Na nasa paguusap yan. Kunware nagpaalam si Nadine Lustre sa Viva na ‘aalis na po ako, baka po pwede niyo ako irelease.”

Ogie added “sana nag paalam ng maayos si Nadine at pinakawalan din siya ng maayos ng Viva. Para walang samaan ng luob.”

Ogie also shared a message to Nadine as she said “Nadine, pag isipan mong mabuti. Kung ayaw mo na talaga, pumunta ka dun at mag settle kayo. Kasi meron namang tinatawag na ‘gusto mo mag ano, amicable settlement tayo?’ Parang babayaran mo yung years ng kontrata na hindi mo pa natratrabaho…. So ganun, may ganung nangyayare. Malay mo pwede naman kung may pera ka naman na bonggang bongga diba. Ehd buyout mo nalang yung contract mo and then start a new career.”
