Actor and now TV host Paolo Contis appealed to people to give them a chance to prove their worth as host of the new Eat Bulaga. Paolo together with Betong Sumaya, Buboy Villar, Alexa Miro, Cassy and Mavy Legaspi were given the tasked to host the noontime show vacated by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey De Leon.
Tito, Vic, and Joey cut their ties with the program’s producer TAPE, Inc.
In a report by Aubrey Carampel for GMA7 24 Oras, Paolo said he and his co-hosts felt honored that they are chosen to host the program and at the same time expect criticims to come as well.
“Syempre lilinawin lang naman natin, walang planong palitan, wala kaming chance palitan si Tito, Vic and Joey. Wala kaming chance dun,” Paolo said.
“We were just called to work, to continue the show because ang gusto ng TAPE office na makapagbigay ng papremyo every day.” Paolo added.
“I hope you give us a chance kasi at the end of the day pinatawag kami para tumulong sa tao, makapagpasaya ng tao. How can you say no to that?” said Paolo.
