Kapuso star Paolo Contis expressed his honest thoughts and sentiments as he finally opened up about his controversial breakup with actress LJ Reyes.
In an episode of TV Host Boy Abunda’s Kapuso Network program titled ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, Paolo was featured for an interview.
During the interview, Paolo broke his silence over his controversial breakup with LJ and he clarified that actress Yen Santos is not the reason for their breakup.
“Si Yen Santos ba talaga ang dahilan ng paghihiwalay niyo ni LJ?” Tito Boy asked Paolo.
“Hindi… Somehow medyo matagal na kaming hindi okay ni LJ pero we were together of course. Napapadalas yung away away and everything. I think it’s a kumbaga combination na ng stress sa pandemic and everything.
One of my biggest mistakes was hindi ko inalala yung mental health ni LJ. Isa yun sa feeling ko na naging simula ng downfall namin. Na hindi ko inisip yun…” Paolo shared.
“Kapag nahihirapan siya during pandemic ang utak ko… alam mo yun, ‘four times a day tayo kumaen, chill ka diyan.’ Alam mo yung ganun… Which one of my biggest mistakes… Plus yung, again, yung pagdidiskarte ko ng sarili ko na hindi ko na ini-inform sakanya yung mga bagay bagay which led to bigger problems.
I won’t divulge na sa issue na yun pero eventually it piled up. Again hindi kami nag-uusap ng maayos…”
“Plus yun na nga everytime akong nakakalabas ng bahay dahil pandemic, may work, may mga kalokohan din akong ginagawa…” Paolo added.
