Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach expressed her thoughts and opinions regarding the netizen’s comparison between her and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
On TV host Bianca Gonzalez’s latest YouTube vlog, she had a meaningful conversation with Pia as they talked about women being compared with other women.
“How do you stay strong internally when there are so many external factors that keep on saying ‘Pia vs. Like This’ or ‘who did it better?’ you know, all these things…” Bianca asked Pia.
“You’re definitely right it exists, I mean wag na tayong lumayo pa. A lot of people really still compare me with Catriona for example, because pareho kaming nanalo sa Miss Universe. And even though we didn’t compete in the same year…” Pia said.
“My experience was completely different from her year. Pinagsasabong kami ng mga tao… and although personally we’re okay, and wala, wala talagang problema… it’s more of the very passionate supporters. And I don’t know why. Who create this parang idea that we don’t like each other…” Pia added.
