Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach clarified that she doesn’t have any sponsors when she competed in beauty pageants.
In the latest episode of ‘Queentuhan’ on her YouTube channel, Pia shared the said news as she looked back on her beauty pageant journey.
“I didn’t get any sponsors, like free hair extensions during my time. Kasi nung mga time din na yun, they were only starting to become popular. You know, around the showbiz industry, the pageant industry. Parang yung talagang sasali lang yung may ganun.” Pia shared.
“Hindi naman siya, like part ng pageant starter pack. Ano lang siya, optional. But I do remember that I had pay. Like everybody had to pay full price at the very…. Okay, pwede ka magka-discount kung may kilala ka, pero yun na yun. Wala talagang libre before. Ibang iba na…”
“It’s only been six years since 2015 Miss Universe. But so much has changed already. Wala, KKB kami nuon eh…” Pia added.
