Comedienne Pokwang hit back at a netizen who made a remark about comedy following her statement about how comedians are being treated.
In her recent interview, Pokwang opened up about some of her unpleasant experiences as a comedienne, saying: “Minsan na pangyayari sa mga shows mararamdaman mo rin na parang, ‘ha dito lang talaga kami nakatambay?”

“Pero ako pinagdarasal ko na lang na. Okay lang, bigyan niyo na lang po ako ng powers na mapasaya ko sila, ganun talaga eh. Dumarating talaga ang mga ganung pagkakataon. Itawa mo na lang, huwag ka magpaapekto kasi haharap ka sa kanila so ‘pag nag-reflect sa mukha mo ‘yun, wala na,” she added.
On Twitter, a netizen responded to an article about Pokwang’s statement regarding the treatment to comedians and wrote: “Cheap version of comedy deserves cheap treatment. 😉”
Pokwang who could not contain her anger responded to the netizen, saying: “maka cheap na version of comedy ka naman… HUY!!!! kaya mo ba ginagawa namin p*tah ka??? basahin mo mabuti sinabi kobwag kang tanga! Merry christmas ul*l!!!”

Pokwang is starring in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity” together with Vic Sotto and Maine Mendoza among others.
