Celebrity couple Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid broke their silence as they addressed the rumors and issues that they are having marital problems.
In an episode of ABS-CBN’s morning talk show ‘Magandang Buhay’ hosted by Regine, Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal, Ogie was featured as he celebrated his 55th birthday.
During the interview, the celebrity couple denied that they are having problems with their relationship as they clarified that their marriage is doing well.
“Honey, nagkakaproblema daw ang marriage natin, sabi daw. Nag hiwalay daw tayo, sabi daw.” Regine told Ogie as she said that she can’t help but laugh over the said rumors.
“Ano lang yan, siguro hindi naman puwedeng mawalan ng basher, hindi ba? Minsan kasi kapag nakikita nila ang liga-ligaya niyo, yun lagi pupukulin. Kaya huwag mo na pansinin, ikaw naman.” Ogie said.
“Actually ako wala, natawa ako, kasi alam kong hindi… You know, since, actually we’ve been together for 11, magtu-twelve. Sinasabi ko ito sa kanya lagi, mas mahal ko siya ngayon kaysa nuong dati. I feel actually even closer to him now especially nung nag pandemic.” Regine said.
“Actually enjoy na enjoy akong kasama ang asawa ko na noong umalis siya pumunta siyang States ay hindi ko kaya, iyak ako nang iyak talaga. Kasi parang ang tagal naming magkasama, kami-kami lang, tapos biglang inalisan ako pumunta ng States, so iyak talaga ako ng iyak…”
“Kasi he’s my best friend and I always say this, it’s wonderful to be married. It is, it is wonderful to be married, provided that you are married to the right person… Kaya nga natawa ako sa balita na ganun kasi hindi eh.” Regine added.
