Kapamilya star Regine Velasquez-Alcasid can’t help but be emotional as her son, Nathaniel James Velasquez Alcasid also known by his nickname Nate celebrated his 10th birthday.
In her Instagram account, Regine shared an old video of Nate to mark the said special occasion. According to Regine, she felt like Nate was deprived of many things for the past two years due to the pandemic.
“He’s 10 today ❤️ For the past two years I feel like he was deprived of so many things like going to school, attending birthday parties, seeing his cousins every weekend, travelling (he loves travelling), shopping, eating out at madami pang iba.
Seeing him not being able to experience life is heart breaking 💔 iniisip ko na lang basta safe sya ok na muna to plus hindi na nya siguro maalala to. But what I didn’t realized is that this pandemic is life learning experience too.” Regine wrote in the caption.
Regine also expressed her love as she greeted him on his 10th birthday as she added:
“So sana maalala nya yung mga panahong ito at sana wag nya makalimutan. Kasi I think this experience will make him a stronger person and by God’s grace a better person. Happy Birthday my little man I love you so much. ❤️❤️❤️ #kwentongnanay”
