Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez is just on of the many Filipinos who might have been affected by the worsening traffic in and even out of Metro Manila.
On Twitter, Regine aired her sentiments about the country’s traffic problem and gave a suggestion that could possibly help lessen the problem that many have since been affected.

She wrote: “May suggestion bakit kaya hindi I try ng mga kumpanya na iba ibang oras ang labas ng mga tao. Para sa ganon medyo gumaan ang traffic. Kaya lang ang dami nila ano yun pag uusapan ba nila?? o bawat lugar ba??? Ay ewan #lalang”

The songbird’s tweet gained various reactions and other suggestions from netizens who shared the same sentiments regarding traffic.
One user wrote: “Kung ginawa lang po cguro na same ang sahod or rate ng manila at province baka sakaling mabawasan ang tao sa manila bawas traffic din.”
Another netizen replied: “My suggestion naman is…total ang laki ng space sa taas ..gumawa sila ng madaming overpass or skyway kumpara sa tren..atleast daanan lng gagastusin hindi na kasama ang tren”
One Twitter user meanwhile suggested: “Home based na lang sana sa mga bpo/call centers, etc. Supporting depts with clerical works like bookkeeping, accounting, leasing, engg, etc pwede naman hindi everyday nasa office. Manufacturing lang naman talaga ang kelangan nasa planta tsaka nurse at security.”
