Basketball player Ricci Rivero expressed his disappointment over the turn of events involving him and former girlfriend actress Andrea Brillantes.
Ricci was being accused of being a two timer now that he is in a relationship with former beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista. Netizens alleged that Ricci left Andrea for Leren.
In a statement read by DJ JhaiHo for their program Maritess University, Ricci maintained that there was no overlapping over his relationship with Andrea and Leren. Ricci also added that Andrea has been going to his condo a number of time to ask for a reconciliation but he declined.
“Pumupunta siya ng condo ko nang madaling-araw ilang beses for what? Para makipagbalikan. Nag-yes ba ako? Hindi, kasi ayoko na and sinabi ko yan sa kanya paulit-ulit so I am the bad person here for not publicly telling everyone that I am single.” said Ricci.
“She asked me not to let people know muna kasi baka masira ang image niya tapos nung hindi ako pumayag makipagbalikan, sisiraan na ako bigla,” Ricci added.
“Never akong pumatol sa kanila kahit sa lahat ng pagpaparinig nila. We all know who she’s pertaining to sa mga tweets niya from the very start. Nag-reply ako kasi sumosobra na sila and meron naman talaga ako alam sa kanila pareho pero hindi ako nagsasalita kasi hindi ako yung tao para manira.” Ricci said.
