Actress Sharon Cuneta has been the subject of bashing and criticisms lately due to various issues. Some about her husband Senator Kiko Pangilinan, some about her daughter KC Concepcion and Frankie Pangilinan.
Just recently, a netizen even threaten to rape Frankie to which Sharon got so disappointed.

In an online interview with radio broadcaster and talent manager Ogie Diaz, Ormoc Mayor Richard Gomez gave his two cents worth to Sharon. Richard and Sharon are good friends and did a lot of movies together.
In a nutshell, Richard was telling Sharon to realize that they cannot pleased everyone and to take eveyrthing with a grain of salt.
“Yan ang problema kasi sa social media. Its a free media, everybody or anybody can just post anything. Mag post ng opinion nila, mag post sila ng galit nila, mag post sila ng inis nila. Siguro tayo na mga artista, we really have to accept the fact na ganun, merong may gusto sa atin merong ayaw.
So minsan masakit kasi minsan napupuno ka na. Kahit naman ako sumasagot ako sa mga ganyan eh pag binabash ako. Pero tao lang naman tayo na nasasaktan, Tao lang tayo na may damdamin siyempre, kung may titira sa atin na ganun kung minsan sumasagot talaga tayo.
Pero ako naman I try to control myself, alam mo naman ako minsan madali lang akong mapikon eh. So ginagawa ko, hanga’t kaya ko silang i-delete, ide-delete ko sila. Hanga’t kaya ko silang i-block, i-bloblock ko sila”
