Actor and politician Richard Gomez expressed his honest thoughts and sentiments when he was asked about having another child with his wife, actress and politician Lucy Torres.
It can be recalled that the said celebrity couple was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Juliana.
In an interview with Kapuso reporter Nelson Canlas for his podcast titled “Updated with Nelson Canlas”, Nelson asked Richard, “of course natatanong sainyo ito. Why not, another baby?”
According to Richard, he and his wife Lucy were trying to have another child. However, Richard said that maybe they were not fortunate to have another one.
“We tried. We tried so many times… Siguro we’re not fortunate lang to have another one. Parang siguro sinabi ng Diyos na, ‘Tama na ’yang. Isa na muna. Isa na lang. Pagtiyagaan n’yo na si Juliana.’” Richard laughingly shared.
Despite having a ‘small family’, Richard shared that they were happy together.
“Masaya naman kami kung kaming tatlo lang, ano lang kami, tawa lang kami nang tawa. We talk about so many things in life. We talk about ano ba yong gusto naming gawin. Ano ba yong future plans natin? It’s a small happy family…” Richard shared.
