Actor Richard Yap expressed his sincerest gratitude to GMA-7 for welcoming him to their fold. Richard officially became a Kapuso after he signs with GMA Artist Center. It has been rumored that Richard will be transferring to the Kapuso network but nothing was confirmed until Wednesday (December 16, 2020).
Aside from Richard, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Joy Marcelo, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and co-manager Kate Valenzuela attended the said contract signing.
On his Instagram account, Richard thanked ABS-CBN for the opportunity, GMA and his fans for their continued support:
“Incredibly thankful and blessed to be welcomed into my new home. After a year of so many trials there is always something to be thankful for. Thankful for new beginnings in my new home network as a Kapuso đź’™
