Actress Rita Avila expressed her sadness over the interview style of Boy Abunda when he interviewed Vice President Leni Robredo for the program “2022 Presidential Interviews with Boy Abunda.”
Avila felt that Tito Boy is consistently cutting off VP Leni’s explanation. Avila further said that she felt Tito Boy is more respectful during his interview with the other presidentiables namely Senator Ping Lacson and former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
On Instagram, Avila posted the following:
“Mr. Boy Abunda, I love you but I feel something heavy while you are talking to VP Leni. You keep on cutting her and you act like you are against what she is saying. Mas respectful and decent ka kala Sen Ping and BBM. Sorry friend, I am not the only one who felt this.”
In another post, Avila again reiterated her opinion on how Tito Boy interviewed VP Leni:
“WHY?!!! Parang ayaw mo na pasagutin. Parang ayaw mo sha mag-expound. Ang sad Boy. Pinagtanggol pa kita na professional ka and respectful sa sinumang guest mo.”
