Actor Robin Padilla spent the new year at the hospital after he was admitted due to an infection.
On his Instagram account, Robin has been sharing photos of him at the hospital together with the doctors and nurses who have been taking care of him, as well as his visitors including Sen. Bong Go, his brother Rommel Padilla and nephew Daniel Padilla along with other family members.

In one of his posts, Robin shared a video of him with the medical staff as they greeted his followers a happy new year.
He wrote in the video’s caption: “In the name of God the most gracious the most merciful. Our @marieltpadilla Deepest thanks to all the staff and nurses of Dr Jesus Delgado Memorial Hospital Sir Oliver Terrence,Philipp,Joshua,Toti, Joel, Toljaja, Mam Sue,Mam Aprylle, Mam Dana, Mam Kate, Mam Alleyne, Mam Faye, Mam kei, Mam Ella, Mam Luisa,Mam Karmela specially to my longtime doctors Dra Olalo Dr Fernan Dr Tagle Dr de Leon Dr Tan resident doctors Dr Manuel Dr Talaga Dr Frias for taking down my very stubborn infection na pinag NEW YEAR ako malayo sa aking asawa at mga Anak Hooooyahhhh!!!”
Robin also mentioned how he is set to undergo rehabilitation for his injured back, saying: “Next step Rehab ng aking injured very painful back. Special thanks to My brother in law Dr Rico Abella to the midwife of @marieltpadilla Sister Jo and Family and most of all to my manager @betchayvidanes na kahit malayo siya at bagong taon ay hindi ako pinabayaan.”
