Robredo’s camp denies pushing to be in a vaccine infomercial with Duterte

The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo denied that they are pushing for a vaccine infomercial where VP Leni will be togther with President Rodrigo Duterte.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque in a Cabinet briefing told President Rodrigo Duterte that Vice President Leni Robredo wanted to do an infomercial with him to encourage Filipinos to get COVID-19 vaccines. It was not VP Leni who suggested the idea but Senator Joel VIllanueva.

In an article published by GMA News, Roque said VP Leni “volunteered” to appear in the vaccine infomercial alongside the President.

The President did not respond to Roque’s statement.
