Actor Rodjun Cruz defended his fiancée Dianne Medina over the ‘spitting’ issue involving ‘Los Bastardos’ stars and former beauty queens Kylie Verzosa and Maxine Medina.
It can be remembered that the controversy sparked after Dianne posted a blind item on her Facebook account about a celebrity who spat on a co-star even if it was not in the script. Dianne also warned the said celebrity and hinted about a family member who was involved in the said incident.

It was later revealed that Kylie apparently spat on Maxine who is Dianne’s cousin while they were shooting one of the scenes in ‘Los Bastardos’.
In his interview with Pep, Rodjun defended Dianne saying that her reaction was just normal as a close family member of Maxine.
He said: “Para sa akin, bilang family, maiintindihan mo rin si Dianne dahil hindi naman biro talaga na gawin yun. Lalo na, siyempre parang kapatid niya talaga si Maxine… dikit sila, e. Normal lang yun na reaction ng isang pamilya na ipagtatanggol mo talaga yung pamilya mo.”
“Lumaki sila na magkasabay, pinalaki sila ng lola nila. So, para silang magkapatid talaga. Naiintindihan ko yung side din ni Dianne, dahil kung sa akin, sa family ko o sa pinsan ko, gaganun talaga ako,” Rodjun added.
Just recently, Kylie and Maxine said that they are now in good terms after the former apologized to the latter. Kylie then admitted that it was Dianne who hurt her feelings and not Maxine.
