Actress and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez revealed that she plans on marrying herself when she turns 50 years old.
In a YouTube video shared by TV Reporter MJ Marfori, Ruffa expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she shared the said news. According to Ruffa, she plans to marry herself when she turns 50 years old as a sign of women empowerment.
“I even said to myself, once I’m 50 years old, which is still a few years from now, I plan to get married to myself as a sign of women empowerment. For me, I honestly believe I don’t need a man in my life.” Ruffa shared.
“You know, if there’s someone in my life it’s because I want them to be in my life. Not because I need him. So sabi ko nga, kailangan pagdating ko ng 50, kailangan relax relax nalang tayo, enjoy life, be happy, meron na tayong sariling business diba…” Ruffa shared.
