Former beauty queen and actress Ruffa Gutierrez reacted to rumors linking her to former Quezon City mayor and actor Herbert Bautista. The said rumor started when Ruffa and Herbert worked together in the series “The House Arrest of Us” starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
In a conference, Ruffa was asked to reveal the real score between her and Herbert.
“Bakit ba kami natsitsismis? Nakakaloka. Siguro, lahat ng mga tao, na-type-an ‘yung team-up namin na unexpected sa The House Arrest of Us kasi ang daming nagme-message sa amin na mga fans, nakukyutan sila sa amin na puwede pala, height doesn’t matter.” said Ruffa.
“Kaya tuloy ‘yung mga may crush sa akin na mas medyo maliit sa akin, biglang nagkaroon ng pag-asa,” added Ruffa.
Ruffa also said Herbert is a very busy man and has lots of priorities. Ruffa added that she looks up to Herbert and consider him as her mentor.
“And siguro, kami ‘yung natsitsismis dahil siya ang leading man ko and at the same time, single siya. Pero no, wala kaming ganun, mga lovey-dovey, no, My gosh. Kung close kami, yes, close kami, he’s my mentor and I enjoy his company. So, ru’n lang muna,” ended Ruffa.
