Actress Sanya Lopez was chosen to be the replacement of Kapuso star Marian Rivera-Dantes to play the lead role in GMA-7 teleserye “First Yaya.” Marian backed out of the project because of the lock-in taping due to the ongoing pandemic. Marian cannot afford that to be with her children and her family.
During the presson of “First Yaya”, Sanya cannot hide her excitement and happiness and she was informed that she was selected to take the part of Marian.
“Na-shock ako kasi, of course, Ms. Marian Rivera iyon and hindi rin naman po ako nag-audition.” said Sanya.
“Natutuwa po ako. Sobrang saya na merong mga bagay na inaalis sa iyo pero meron talagang ipapalit na maganda.” added Sanya.
