Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte confirmed that indeed she and presidential aspirant and former senator Bongbong Marcos met in Cebu.
But before anyone jump to any conclusion of any political talks or alliance, Mayor Sara made it clear that they were together to celebrate the birthday of Cong. Yedda Romualdez, wife of House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez sa Cebu.
Supporters have been clamoring for a Sarah Bongbong / Bongbong Sara tandem for the coming 2022 election but no formal announcement has been made about the said alliance.
Mayor Sara has already said she intent to finish her term as mayor.
On Facebook, Mayor Sara posted the following:
“Confirmed po na nagkita kami ngayon lang ni Presidential aspirant at former Senator BBM sa masayang pagdiriwang ng birthday ni Cong. Yedda, maybahay ni House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez sa Cebu.”
