Senator-elect Robin Padilla told members of the media that he is 100% ready to join the senate to serve the Filipino people who voted for him.
“Pag gusto mong gawin, madali lang yon. Medyo ano lang, naninibago lang ako kasi hindi naman ako, summa cum laude ako sa cutting classes noong araw,” said Padilla.
Padilla came out first in the 2022 Senate race with more than 26 million votes.
When asked if he is ready and willing to engaged in a debate, Padilla he is willing and added that he prefers his colleagues to use Tagalog.
“ahh oo. pero Tagalog… una, hindi naman Amerikano mga kaharap ko para mag-English ako. Siguro kung Amerikano, well I’m willing to debate. Pero mga Tagalog sila eh, eh di Tagalog tayo,” Padilla said.
