Singer actress Sharon Cuneta clarified the ‘Hermes’ snubbing incident during her visit in South Korea. According to Sharon, she was not allowed to enter the Hermes shop so she decided to go to Louis Vuitton which is located nearby.
Sharon added that she was treated nicely by Louis Vuitton staff, even giving her flowers and champagne.
Netizens expressed their disappointment over the way Sharon was treated by the Hermes staff.
In a recent post, Sharon clarified the said incident and said that it is simply a protocol that Hermes do not allow people to just enter their shop for safety considerations:
“Don’t feel bad about Hermes not letting me in! Lots, if not all name-brand stores even in the U.S. allow a certain number of people in at a time – sometimes 10 lang, while the others wait in line outside of the store. Lots also ask you to make an appointment.
Covid measures nila yan so okay lang. Sayang lang talaga belt lang naman ang balak ko eh kaya ayoko pumapasok sa ibang stores na di ko plano puntahan ang dami kong nakikita eh!”
