Sharon Cuneta shares photo of her being ‘generous’ since young

It is a common knowledge that singer actress Sharon Cuneta is one of the most generous celebrities in the local entertainment industry. Sharon has been helping and contributing to relief efforts and charitable institutions with much funfare.

On her Instagram account, Sharon a throwback photo that shows her generosity started way back when she is still young:

“OMG! Someone had and found a picture! I did this all the time when I was little. My Mom would be giving away relief goods in Pasay where my Daddy was Mayor for decades – and anything else to people everywhere else kahit di naman sila mga botante ng Daddy ko – and I followed her example.

I would save part of my alowance for my own little piggy bank, but more often than not, my savings would go to buying out candies at pag naubusan na, pati kropek – from Sari-Sari stores and had my own pila of kids to give all my candies to! Maaga pa alam ko nang totoo yung “It is better to give than to receive.” Isang interpretation doon, “Mabuti na yung ikaw ang may nabibigay kesa ikaw ang nanghihingi.”

Pero ang mas tumatak sa puso ko, “There is no better feeling in the world than to give to someone who you know can never pay you back.”

I am grateful to my Mommy and Daddy for teaching me how to be giving and empathetic by example and not just through words. I hope my children are learning the same in the same way too.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️ (Thanks so much for posting this. My heart skipped a beat! Good memories and only love.❤️) ##Repost from @sharonretro.tm
