Singer and actress Sharon Cuneta gave a message to presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos and his running mate Sara Duterte and to Senate President Tito Sotto and wife Helen Gamboa.
During the miting de avance of Leni-Kiko tandem in Makati, Sharon went up on stage and said the following:
“I said it’s painful, can I just say very personal words? This is for Bongbong…
maybe we don’t have to agree or like what you’ve done or what you have not done, for me to always remember your kindness towards me when I was growing up… I wish you and Liza and your beautiful boys God’s blessings… and we all come together once this is over and just be Filipinos,” said Sharon.
Sharon also has a message for Mayor Sara:
“Inday… nagkakaintindihan tayo. Kahit wala na si Tatay (Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte) sa aking buhay ay never kang nawala. Alam ko, kasi hindi ka lang Sharonian, pero mahal kita. Kaya lang, ang bise presidente ko talaga ay si Kiko,” Sharon quips.
And for Senate President Tito Sotto who is also running for vice president, Sharon has this to say:
“Mostly, to my second father, Senate President Tito Sotto… Daddy, thank you for embracing me when I saw you… thank you for saying ‘I love you’ back… I love you very much dad, but… I hope it doesn’t divide our family.” Sharon said.
And to Helen Gamboa:
“Mama Helen, the only peace I found in my heart is that, you would have done the exact same thing for dad, if you had been in my shoes. After all, you raised me also and I am so much like you… co’z I’m your eldest. I love you very much and I miss you.” added Sharon.
