Netizens were surprised upon hearing the news that the iconic globe of SM Mall of Asia was stolen. One netizen posted a video captured by his dashcam showing the globe being taken by a helicopter.
“Spot this guys!!! Captured by my dashcam just now that moa globe was blown away! What is that??”
The management of SM MOA has released the following statement:
“SM Mall of Asia is currently working with authorities in investigating the MOA Globe incident. With our security measures in place, rest assured that the SM Mall of Asia continues to be a safe space for our family and friends.”
