GMA News TV decided to pull off the plug on their two programs – State of The Nation with Jessica Soho and Tonight with Arnold Clavio. Both are award winning programs hosted by award winning host.
According to an article published on Pep, the reason behind the decision was because of the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Most businesses including the entertainment industry suffered tremendous effects brought about by the pandemic. Most companies are cutting cost and advertisement is one of the first to go.
‘State of the Nation’ premiered on February 28, 2011 while “Tonight With Arnold Clavio” premiered on GMA News TV on February 28, 2011.
