Actress Sunshine Cruz seemed to have a great time celebrating Christmas with her three daughters Angelica, Chesca, and Sam, as well as her boyfriend Macky Mathay based on photos she shared on her Instagram account.
In one of her posts, a netizen asked about the current relationship of Sunshine’s daughters with their dad Cesar Montano as the former couple officially and legally ended their marriage.

The netizen commented: “Di po ba in good terms sila sa biological father nila?”
Sunshine responded to the netizen and explained how her daughters understand the situation, saying: “Tbh I teach my girls to just always understand him and the situation. Nagpaparamdam ang tatay nila once a year or minsan wala pa but then again it’s fine. The girls are smart enough to understand na meron syang ibang pinagkakaabalahan. Andito naman ako palagi for them. I think that alone is enough for them. Knowing I am here for them always.😊 Happy Holidays. 🎄”
In a recent interview, Cesar revealed how he asked for forgiveness to the people he might have hurt such as his ex-wife and kids.
He said: “Hindi natin masasabi ‘yun (kung pinatawad na niya ako), only the person. Kung siya ang nakakaramdam kung natanggap (na) niya, kung nakapagpatawad siya, walang makakapagsabi no’n kung ‘di siya.
“At least nasabi mo na ‘yun and, of course, bago magsara ang taon dapat gawin natin lahat ‘yun, to ask forgiveness sa lahat ng taong nagawan natin nang pagkakamali.”
“Hindi lang naman kasi ako ang involved at siya; may mga batang involved (dito). And if I prolonged that, kawawa ‘yung mga bata. I have to think about the children also. Ang daling magsalita (but) I have to think of our children,” Cesar added.
